    Your primary, easy-to-grab extinguisher.
Covers: wood, upholstery, electrics, fuel vapour.

🔥 2. Each Cabin

  • 1 × 1kg Dry Powder (ABC) per cabin
Mount near the cabin entrance so you can fight the fire while staying at the exit.

🔥 3. Galley (Kitchen Area)

  • 1 × 2L Foam (AFFF) Extinguisher
Better than powder for flammable liquids and cooking fires.

  • 1 × Fire Blanket
Essential for pan fires, clothing fires, and quick smothering.

Choose one of the following setups:

Option A – Most Common & Recommended

  • 1 × Automatic Engine-Bay Extinguisher (clean agent or FM200 alternative)
    Automatically activates when temperature rises.

Option B – Manual Alternative

  • 1 × 2kg CO₂ Extinguisher
Mounted outside the engine hatch so you can discharge without opening the hatch.

🔥 5. Cockpit / Helm

  • 1 × 2kg Dry Powder (ABC)
For electrical panels, batteries, fuel lockers, and quick access from deck.
