The XAS Rope Clutch is engineered for high-performance cruising and racing yachts up to 42 feet, offering reliable line control and exceptional holding power across a wide rope diameter range. Designed for versatility, it accommodates frequent line changes or upgrades to smaller, stronger ropes without compromising grip or performance.

Built with an alloy centerplate for optimal load distribution and impact-resistant materials for durability, the XAS ensures smooth operation even under extreme conditions. Its easy-release mechanism, line-friendly cam design, and modular construction make it simple to maintain, upgrade, and customize.

The clutch can also be side-mounted using the optional XAS-SMNT side-mount kit, maintaining the same hole spacing as the XA model for easy retrofitting.
